   COLLEGE RESUME INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES

Northern Nevada Juniors that are active in the program can join the eClub of Reno complimentary of the NNGA. Follow this link "eClub of Reno" and click on "Apply for Membership".  If you have questions please call the office at: 787-5710.

This is not membership to the NNJGA and you must be a member of the NNJGA to enroll in the eClub of Reno.

Side note to the eClub of Reno signup for Juniors and privacy.  
It has come to my attention that players records are shown to other members when they are logged in and only when they are logged in. You cannot access the information until you are a member.  
If you are concerned about your privacy you can use a different mailing address other than your home address as we have that on file in the office and we don't mail out anything to members of the eClub. You can get an email at any of the online sites such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, that address will only be used for eClub correspondence. If you have questions please call the office 787-5710.
eClub of Reno Travel Teams

   The Boys' and Girls' Junior America's Cup Team Matches are the showcase team events in the western portion of the country for boys and girls, ages 17 and under. The tournament features seventeen association teams from eleven western states, Hawaii, Canada and Mexico. Representing each association are four junior boys and four junior girls. Team members exemplify not only outstanding skill, but also true sportsmanship, discipline, courtesy and character. The tournament passes to a different host association each year.

   Each year we provide an opportunity for players to make teams representing the NNJGA. The players chosen for the teams based on stroke average, conduct, attitude, and overall accomplishments throughout the season. The NNJGA sends four (4) teams annually to the national event for the Boys Junior America’s Cup, Girls Junior America’s Cup, Hogan Cup Matches, and the Mary Cave Cup. By making one of these teams the junior golfer has the opportunity to be seen by college coaches and possible be selected for golf scholarships as they prepare for college. There is a travel team expense per player/per event for these events.

Hogan Cup Matches

   The Hogan Cup 36-hole team matches pit the best junior boy golfers from the Western United States and Canada against each other in a team format with the three lowest scores each day determining the team total. Medals are awarded to the top three teams as well as the top three individuals in the field.

    Being selected to compete in Hogan Cup matches is an honor that has been bestowed to few individuals, and the excellence of past participants is indicative of the quality of the small, select field.

Mary Cave Cup JR World Qualifier
   The Junior World Golf Championships is truly unique with a total field size exceeding 1000 golfers and representing an impressive number of countries and states. The event is held July  9-15 in San Diego, CA.
   Eligibility for Jr. World:  New in 2009, contestants for the Jr. World Qualifier must be a NNJGA member and a Nevada resident or
NNJGA member that lives and attends school  within 75 miles of Reno NV.

   The Mary Cave Cup 36-hole team matches feature some of the best junior girl golfers on the west coast competing in a team four-ball format.  

   The event is equivalent to the Hogan Cup Matches and is played in memorial to Ms. Cave who is in the Golf Hall of Fame and was instrumental in women’s golf in the San Diego area establishing the first women’s golf team at San Diego State.
